Tak jak nikt dotąd nie dowiódł, że istnieje w jakimkolwiek miejscu kosmosu pustka, tak nikt nie zaobserwował skończoności, początku i końca wszystkiego. Możemy śmiało zakładać że przestrzeń kosmiczna jest nieskończona i że wszędzie istnieje jakaś energia czy materia.
Konsekwencją tego jest nieskończona ilość wszechświatów, słońc, planet. I wchodząc w to głębiej, nieskończona ilość np. naszych Ziemi i sytuacji takich jak właśnie w tym momencie. I nieskończona ilość rozwinięć tej sytuacji. I oczywiście Ziemi z różną przeszłością.
Rozwiązuje to nam „paradoks dziadka” bo podróż w czasie staje się po prostu podróżą na podobną planetę, a nie bajkowym wymysłem ( tu krótko o Czasie: https://transatlantycki.blogspot.com/2015/09/czas.html )
Konsekwencją praktyczną nieskończoności jest to, że gdzieś daleko żyje nieograniczona ilość naszych przodków, a i rzecz jasna, nas samych. W takich nieskończonościach będących „od zawsze” zapewne istnieją też krańcowo zaawansowane cywilizacje o boskich mocach, które pokonały te prymitywne, aczkolwiek wyglądające na mocne, przeświadczenie o tym że istnieje granica prędkości – szybkość światła. Mogą przemieszczać się wszędzie. Jeśli użyczą nam swojej technologii będziemy mogli np. zrobić sobie historyczną wycieczkę nad Grunwald 1410 (na Ziemi o tożsamej z naszą przeszłością) i popatrzyć z góry na bitwę.
Rozwiązuje nam to też problem istnienia/nieistnienia bogów. Zostaje już tylko odpowiedź na pytanie, czy takowi obserwują i wpływają akurat na naszą Ziemię czy nie.
Czy te założenie nieskończoności ma jakieś znaczenie tu i teraz? W zasadzie nie, oprócz tego że powinno nas bardziej zmotywować do szukania możliwości obalenia mitu o najszybszości światła. Jest jeszcze tyle do obejrzenia poza naszym, już jako tako zbadanym, padołem.

Consequences of infinity
Just as no one has ever proved that there is an empty place in space, no one has observed the finitude, the beginning and the end of everything. We can safely assume that space is infinite and that there is energy or matter everywhere.
The consequence of this is the infinite number of universes, suns, planets. And going deeper, the infinite number of our Earths and moments like that one that we are living in now. And an infinite amount of alternatives to this situation. And of course many Earths with different pasts.
This solves the "Grandfather paradox", because traveling in time becomes simply a journey to a similar planet. We do not need fancy tricks with time (I wrote a bit about the Time here, in Polish: https://transatlantycki.blogspot.com/2015/09/time.html)
The practical consequence of infinity is that somewhere, far away, exists an unlimited number of our ancestors, and, of course, unlimited number of me and you. In such space that exists "forever", there are probably also extremely advanced civilizations with near divine powers that have overcome these primitive, though seemingly strong, conviction that there is a speed limit - the speed of light. They can move everywhere, with any speed. If they give us their technology, we will be able to make a historic trip to Waterloo 1815 (on Earth, similar to our but in past) and look down on the battlefield.
It also solves the problem of the existence / non-existence of the gods. There is only the answer to whether or not they are watching and influencing our planet or not.
Do these assumptions of infinity have any meaning here and now? Basically not, but it should motivate us to look for the possibility of overthrowing the myth of light as fastest thing in universe. There is so much to see outside of our world, which we already examined a bit.

Les conséquences de l'infinité
Comme personne n'a jamais prouvé qu'il y a un espace vide dans l'espace, personne n'a observé la finitude, le début et la fin de tout. Nous pouvons supposer en toute sécurité que l'espace est infini et qu'il y a de l'énergie ou de la matière partout.
La conséquence de ceci est le nombre infini d'univers, de soleils, de planètes. Et plus profondément, le nombre infini de nos terres et de nos moments comme celui que nous vivons maintenant. Et une quantité infinie d'alternatives à cette situation. Et bien sûr, beaucoup de terres avec des passés différents.
Cela résout le "paradoxe du grand-père", car voyager dans le temps devient simplement un voyage vers une planète similaire. Nous n'avons pas besoin de tours de fantaisie avec le temps (j'ai écrit un peu sur le temps ici, en Polonaise: https://transatlantycki.blogspot.com/2015/09/time.html)
La conséquence pratique de l'infini est que quelque part, loin, existe un nombre illimité de nos ancêtres et, bien entendu, un nombre illimité de moi et de toi. Dans un espace qui existe «pour toujours», il y a probablement aussi des civilisations extrêmement avancées avec des pouvoirs divins qui ont surmonté cette conviction primitive, bien que apparemment forte, qu'il y ait une limite de vitesse - la vitesse de la lumière. Ils peuvent se déplacer partout, avec n'importe quelle vitesse. S'ils nous donnent leur technologie, nous pourrons faire un voyage historique vers Waterloo 1815 (sur Terre, semblable à notre mais au passé) et regarder vers le bas sur le champ de bataille.
Il résout également le problème de l'existence / non-existence des dieux. Il n'y a que la réponse à savoir si elles regardent ou influencent notre planète ou non.
Est-ce que ces hypothèses de l'infinité ont une signification ici et maintenant? Fondamentalement pas, mais il devrait nous motiver à chercher la possibilité de renverser le mythe de la lumière comme la chose la plus rapide dans l'univers. Il y a tellement de choses à voir en dehors de notre monde, que nous avons déjà examiné un peu.
